La carabina ad aria compressa HP Renegade si distingue per un segreto nascosto: la sua azione Precharged è guidata meccanicamente! Al posto di una GCU elettronica (unità di controllo) e di un ciclo di sparo compensato, il cuore del Renegade batte attorno al sistema meccanico Core Valve, montato sui suoi famosi fratelli Wolverine.
L'Alta Potenza Renegade non è di per sé priva di caratteristiche rivoluzionarie, non da ultimo l'Hybrid Trigger Unit (HTU). Storicamente, il design del bullpup ha prodotto limitazioni con il rilascio del grilletto a causa della posizione più avanzata che richiede leve inefficienti che sono dannose per una buona sensazione.
Con la Pulsar elettronica, questo problema è stato superato. E Daystate ha ora esteso il suo know-how per sviluppare un grilletto elettronico / meccanico ibrido per HP Renegade - il primo sistema del suo genere visto su una carabina ad aria compressa PCP ad alta potenza, e segnando la fine del secolare problema di un grilletto scarso per i bullpup guidati meccanicamente. Alimentato da una singola batteria PP3 di tipo 9 facilmente disponibile, l'HTU trasferisce semplicemente il movimento del grilletto tramite un filo a un piccolo solenoide che, istantaneamente, rilascia le scottature normalmente funzionanti verso il retro dell'azione di Renegade HP.
In sostanza, è un sistema elettronico fly-by-wire che porta il meglio di entrambi i mondi nella configurazione bullpup.
